Hi all,

There's a new Fulton Lights song available for you to download (for
free!). Over brunch in Melbourne about 11 months ago, Ronnie from the
"biannual attack journal" known as The Lifted Brow asked me if I
wanted to do a song for their upcoming atlas edition (volume 6). He
gave me the rundown, it was the world reintrepreted in word, image,
and song. I asked him what countries/territories were still
available, and what he had in mind as the ground rules (if any). I
went to the bathroom, returned inspired and called shotgun on Israel/
Palestine. It's a song of sibling rivalry, and you can hear it over
at http://www.mbvmusic.com/2009/12/03/tlb6-ian-dingman-fulton-lights-rachel-haley-himmelheber/19178

You can, and should, buy the whole volume over at www.theliftedbrow.com.
It consists of a book and 2cd's, and the lineup of other writers,
musicians, and visual artists involved is jaw-dropping. Everyone from
Diamonds to Sage Francis to David Foster Wallace to Rick Moody and
Hannah Marcus and about a thousand others are up on this bidness. Get
some. This holiday gift idea is brought to you by the letters F, U,
L, T, O, N, L, I, G, H, T, and S.

In other news, not much other news. There are some new Fulton Lights
t-shirts, I'll try to get a link together and send it your way in case
anybody would like to buy one. They're snazzy and strange, designed
by our man in Amsterdam John Foster. And I'm planning to record a few
more songs in January. That's about it!

peace.
Andy

Quick update/edit:

-In my dunderheaded haste I forgot to mention that "Old Testament
Kind," the song Fulton Lights contributed to The Lifted Brow vol 6,
prominently features the always incredible Karen Waltuch on viola.
Too much on the brain over here, forgive the omission. Karen has been
a long-time Fulton Lights partner-in-crime in addition to having made
all kinds of other musicians sound better than they would otherwise
(Wilco, Foetus, Tony Conrad, and so forth...). It was (and always is)
an honor to work with her.

-The t-shirts I mentioned can be purchased here if you're so inclined:

That's it! Sayonara.
