Dean is indeed recording a solo(!) album at 'Tiny Telephone' in SF now (with the guy from Papercuts producing). Quite excited about it being a solo album as I think a break from the Dean/Britta, Lee/Nancy, Gainsbourg/Birkin thing is about due (not that I haven't loved the duo albums).

Ahh the windmill - happy days!

How late to the party would I be if I commented in Dean's 'Emancipated Hearts'? I just found it

Here goes
IMHO The Ticking Is The Bomb is my favorite tune from it and I don't know how many other other Luna, Dean or other that reminds me of G500 like that one does. For that song alone I am sorry I missed the April 2014 performance in Chicago. Next time I guess. The others are just fine, happy to have them but the 'bomb stands out to me.
Now to get the new album, I won't wait so long.
Quick note: I am guessing I have been on this list for 17 years now?
Still awesome.
Listening now to an old indie favorite by Miracle Legion 'Surprise Surprise Surprise'.

Thanks
Lou

I have to admit I've been listening to the new album more than emancipated hearts, but that's probably just a 'because it's newer' thing.

My favourite track is possibly The Deadliest Day Since The Invasion Began, in partial to songs with overlong titles!

I had a Miracle Legion revival last year when Mulcahy played over here. It was a treat.
