Job Description:

Overview:

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of internal IT initiatives within a cross-functional Agile environment. This role will focus on managing ongoing enhancements, optimizations, and continuous improvement efforts across multiple systems and teams, ensuring alignment between business priorities and technical execution.

This individual will play a critical role in sustaining and advancing Agile practices within our Azure DevOps (ADO) environment following its implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives across internal IT systems and platforms
• Coordinate work across cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and dependencies
• Own and maintain backlogs within Azure DevOps (ADO), including prioritization of enhancement requests and technical improvements
• Partner with business stakeholders to define, refine, and translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to support consistent delivery
• Track and report on progress using Agile metrics and dashboards (e.g., burndown charts, velocity, cycle time)
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers impacting delivery
• Ensure enhancements are aligned with overall product and organizational strategy
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, workflows, and system performance
• Collaborate with existing PMs, QA, and development teams to ensure seamless execution across feature development, testing, and post-release enhancements

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management within Agile environments
• Experience managing enhancements, maintenance, or continuous improvement initiatives (not just new feature delivery)
• Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile tools
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and dependencies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in complex IT environments with multiple systems and integrations
• Background in product delivery or product operations
• Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.)
• Experience supporting or working within a newly implemented Agile framework
