Once I create these lists I love that I can check them off as done... would be extra pleasing to have colors and columns (names can be whatever) but something to the sort of 1. need to do:  2. working on/ in process 3. started but waiting on something 4. completed
It would be super fantastic if I could move them from one column to the next by drag and drop.
Once these are completed I would like to move them to Archive NOT DELETE. I would like to go back and see the lists and reuse and perfect my organizing strategies.

If possible I could create a master list and use it over and over again with a different title.

Please let me know if this can be done and Thank you for all your hard work!

Hi Sheila, have you tried Trello? From what you described, Trello sounds like a perfect fit for you, and it's much more powerful than Google Tasks. Google Tasks is a very basic tool, targeted at "average gmail users", and it doesn't do much. The goal of this extension is simply make it full screen.

Hi, I looked into Trello, and it seems bloated. Too much for a simple personal use. I highly recommend to add Archiving feature. I understand that it might use up so much data. So why not give people limit amount of storage and force them to pay if they want to keep archives?

Hi Nicolas, yes Trello is indeed bloated compared to 2020 when this thread was created, and Trello was brought up because OP wanted columns. You didn't seem to want columns.
If you use this app, you should first be an existing user of the official Google Tasks app. Google didn't provide an archive feature, so this app has no way to have it.
