Can't log in

When I first opened https://fullscreen-for-googletasks.com/ I received a prompt to sign in, clicked it, got a pop up window, and selected my google account, and selected the permissions. 

When the pop up disappeared, the extension said I needed to find the popup or reload. I reloaded, got the Sign in prompt at the top of the screen, clicked it, and a popup opens momentarily then disappears and the extension goes through opening pop up and eventually you need to find the popup window or reload. I'm unable to login in.

When I go to my google account, it shows that I've connected my google account tot he extension and given it permissions.

I do have an SSO via onelogin, but I haven't had issues elsewhere.

I'm not familiar with SSO and not sure if that's the issue, but may I ask, (A) Are you signed in to gmail? (B) Are you signed in to Chrome? (for syncing bookmarks and stuff) 

Suppose you want to use Google Tasks with account C, are A, B, C the same account?

Yes, A, B, C are all the same account. I'm signed into gmail and chrome with the same account I am attempting to log into Google Tasks.

You've tried the web version and had login issues, I'm not sure why, but maybe try the chrome-extension version?

It uses different login mechanisms than web, so it might work for you. But it only works in standard Chrome, not any other browsers.

Accidentally sent my previous note directly to author.

I used chrome-extension to begin with. When I click on the extension, it simply opens a new tab with the web link: https://fullscreen-for-googletasks.com/

Is there a different way to access fullscreen for goggle tasks via the extension that I'm misunderstanding? It seems to just open the website.

What happens if you visit chrome-extension://ndbaejgcaecffnhlmdghchfehkflgfkj/index.html ?

this worked for me also and I am on a Mac.  Using the direct link on the extension bar does not work.  I run this on windows with no problems.

Just wanted to pop in here...

I had a similar issue on my home machine in Firefox.  Tried various things to fix it but turned out to be an easy fix...  I logged out of Google through Gmail and logged in again.

I didn't realize... do cookies go stale?  ^^
