Tasks open emails in wrong account

Here is my setup:

Personal gmail account is my defualt account.

Workspace account set as secondary.

Using your awesome app on the secondary account, workspace.

Creating and syncing tasks works perfectly, but when a task has an email attatchment, cliking on that email opens it (or tries to open it) in the personal gmail account, not the Workspace account.

Any way to rectify that? Other similar apps I've tried can jump straight to workspace, so I guess it can be done. By thoser apps aren't as good as yours in other areas, so would prefer to use this one if poss! :)

Hi, I just tested and indeed it's a problem. In the past 3 years you're the only user who mentioned this, I guess it's too rare that someone with a secondary account also happens to use the email link feature.

Here's the workaround that I can think of: get another equally good browser besides chrome, e.g. Edge, ChromeBeta, Firefox, etc. Then use one for personal use, one for work. Then open this app in your work browser, then it'll open your work gmail on clicking the email link.

Ahh, that's a shame. A two browser setup won't work for me :(

For reference, TasksBoard opens the right email account straight away, with no change in settings required. (No idea how it knows, but it does)

And a little extension I'm using for mailto links works with a setting where you set the domain, like this:

So I guess, in theory, it feels like it could be done. But totally appreciate you don't have to bother doing it just for me! Ha.

I use 3 accounts in my browser, and Full Screen Tasks opens the first account.  You can control which account is first, by logging out of everything, and then logging in to the account you want first, and then the other accounts.
