Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm not familiar with Google Room, is it a new feature? Are you a GSuite user (meaning that you use your...@your-company.com to login gmail)? Could you tell me the steps to create a "Google Room Task"?

Hello.  Yes, I use GSuite.  Here's a good explanation of Google Rooms.  I can assign myself a task in the room.  It shows up in my google tasks side bar, but doesn't show up in the full screen view with your app.  Is it possible to have Google Room tasks pass through to your app?

Hi Megan, thanks!

In my experimenting, I successfully created a Room in GSuite, and added some people into the chat, but couldn't find where to add tasks. It seems to be a new feature that hasn't rolled out to everybody yet. It may depend on your organization, or maybe just random. It'll take a while before I can test myself.

But generally speaking, I'm pessimistic about it - if your task shows up in the sidebar, but not in this extension, then it's fetched from different APIs, and likely not fixable.

Appreciate all the help.  I'll standby and keep me posted if you find a way to make it happen.  We may be one of the first organizations using rooms for tasks.  It's a tab on the top of the room.  Here's a good explanation.

Any update on this?  Room tasks are a big feature and the lack of passing this through to the app/extension is a showstopper for corporate usability.  Thanks.

Looking for an update on this as well. I agree when creating TASKS from G-CHATS, the task appears on Google Task List but DOES NOT appear on the FULL SCREEN TASK APP. This for sure is a showstopper for corporate usability, well stated.
