Kanye West is ready to host another "Donda" listening party.
The 44-year-old rapper shared a new date for his next pre-album release event to his Instagram account on Saturday, which is going to be hosted on Aug. 5, 2021, according to a white loading screen graphic he uploaded.
Kanye is notorious for teasing and promising albums that never end up getting released, most memorably the highly anticipated YANDHI. The new project is dubbed DONDA, an homage to the rapper's mother, and is being revealed through an invite-only listening party that requires prior registration.
After numerous delays, Kanye West recently dropped his new album, Donda taking the internet by storm. The album was announced on July 2020 and was recently released on July 23, 2021, at 8 pm ET and the listening event was held at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Those who could not manage to get the tickets for the event and wished to watch Donda’s live stream can easily enjoy Kanye West’s music by tuning to Apple music’s live stream and heading to Apple music’s dedicated Donda listening event page.
The Atlanta producer was present at the Donda listening event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last month, and opened up to B High about what he heard and what he thinks the project is missing.

On July 21, 2021, a snippet of the song “No Child Left Behind” was used in a Beats ad with Sha'Carri Richardson. The advertisement revealed that the listening party would actually take place on July 22, 2021, and that the album would finally release that night. An unfinished version of the album premiered at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Named after West's late mother, it is scheduled to be released on August 6, 2021,[1] through GOOD Music and distributed by Def Jam Recordings. The album was initially set to be released on July 24, 2020, but was later delayed indefinitely. Multiple sources, including Def Jam, announced a July 23, 2021 release date; the album remained unreleased on that date.
