Hi,

The schemes are only for India, so no need to dial access no. when you are calling anywhere in US. To call California, you have to just dial the 10 digit number.

You will get charged by your network (not by the scheme).

This is exciting. just spoken to my elderly parents.

First i paid for the quarter calls but changed it to monthly plan because i won't call anyone for more than 10 mts.

I donot have my personal internet connection but a wireless connection exist in my office as well as in guest house whrere I will stay during these four months .should I need to buy a mobile phone and  new sim card or any other idea.

I guess you have to buy new connection here. since you don't have credit history here (don,t have credit cad hear in USA) you may need to buy pre payed other wise they will ask you security deposit (may be 200-300$) for post payed.

now i amusing Cricket mobile (pre-payed) it works fine I am getting 40$/month unlimited calls and sms in USA 

Network is also quite good I traveled in Virginia new york new jersy and in Maryland no where i had network problem

any how you will be here for very short time buy ordinary set for 20-30$

You can't make call to india in that 40$ you have to use India calling card

Many different india calling cards are available i am using INDIALD here i am getting 1000 min for 10$ + tax

many other plans are available you an ask friends other and decide
