Hi all,
Anyone is going via United Airlines, Inc. ?

Acc. to the site, I can carry upto 18kg as carry-on, for check-in as mentioned on http://www.united.com/CMS/en-US/travel/Pages/BaggageChecked.aspx   2 bags of 23kg are

allowed.....But, I called to Carlson Wagonlit Travel (through which USIEF booked the ticket), they told to check-in only 1 bag of 23 kg acc. to the ticket.

Please give your suggestions regarding the same.

United allows only ONE free check-in bag and you need to pay $70 for the extra bag one way. If u change ur flight to British or Lufthansa, u can carry two bags free.

@Anirvan: My ticket is already booked on UA and it is via Delhi-Frankfurt-Denver-Monterey. It will be operated by Lufthansa as mentioned on my tickets.  I called to UA, they are telling upto 10-12 kg carry-on and 23kg (1 bag) check-in.

On most other airlines you can carry an extra 23 kg for free, in addition to what you have mentioned. But since your ticket is already booked, I guess you might need to cut down on the baggage, and then have a pleasant flight ahead!
