Job Opportunity at the School of Government and Public Policy

A. About the School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) Indonesia:

 

A group of both nationally and internationally recognized Indonesian public leaders and policy-makers has taken the initiative to create the Yayasan Indonesia Cerdas Unggul (YICU) in view of funding a new school for public policy in Jakarta, called the School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP-Indonesia) (www.sgpp.ac.id).

 

The SGPP-Indonesia has opened its doors in August/September 2013, with a first one-year Master of Public Policy (MPP 2013/2014) developed by a panel of international experts coming from different, highly respected policy-schools from abroad like the Harvard Kennedy School, the London School of Economics, Sciences Po Paris and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies.

 

B. Recruitment of Faculty Members:

 

The SGPP-Indonesia is now expanding and consolidating its activities. It is therefore looking for experienced Indonesian scholars for permanent faculty member positions in various relevant fields such as:

•             Global and international affairs

•             Politics, Governance and the Policy Process

•             Organization, Conflict Resolution and Leadership

•             Analytic methods (micro-economics, statistical analysis for policy-making)

•             Business and Public Policy

•             Gender and Public Policy

 

B.1 Candidates are expected to have:

•             A Ph.D from a high-quality university in one of the abovementioned fields

•             Experience in teaching, policy research and/or professional work in her or his field

•             Proven peer-reviewed academic publications

 

B.2 Candidates should send:
