hi all:

      我以前使用Thunderbird收发gmail邮件正常。今天发现不可以了，自由门上配置了

pop.gmail.com也不可以，这个要怎么解决的哦？

shadowsocks仅针对浏览器代理，不能代理应用软件。对于thunderbird估计不行。

自由门应该只是http代理吧?

用shadowsocks比较好,thunderbird那边设socks5代理为本地的shadowsocks就行了嘛

对。IMAP 要实时连接的，慢啊。POP 事先慢慢把邮件拖回来，看的时候很快的。

Dropbox 好像是 HTTPS 协议的（当然 LAN sync 除外）。

不会。偶尔中文邮件列表里会有人放几个上M的（inline）图片，然后底下回复的
人会引用，把那些图片又重复发送好些次。（我用3G的时候最讨厌这种行为了）

其次是回复时不裁剪引文的，回复多了邮件就会特别长。还有带 HTML 版的邮件也
会挺大的。

不过在国内，收个邮件不容易啊。我经常看到 cron 的报错邮件，连接超时之类的。
换了个 IP，GMail 能用了，可网易是怎么回事啊，经常连接超时。

要知道看邮件列表的时候，一封邮件经常只要一两秒过一下就可以了，但IMAP加载
一封邮件得好几秒呢。
