Friends of fujara,

the big international fujara festival (1st of it's kind) is coming
very soon, and if you are going to be part of it, here are some tips
and translated program in attachment.
Even when you are not one of 80 performers, you can still play at the
festival, there is open mike on the main stage at inner castle square,
available to anybody with fujara, whistle, or any other overtone flute
(bring your seljefloyte if you play it). Entrance to festival is free,
and there will be only symbolic fee of 2 or 3 Euros to several
concerts inside the castle. There will be also free fujara and
koncovka school, and concerts of music of diferrent genres, for
example internationaly recognised jazz flute player Jiri Stivin from
Prague, mandolin virtuoso and great Irish flute player Radim Zenkl,
great guitarist and singing poet Vladimir Merta from Prague, several
music groups, and more.
Come if you can, this special festival might not be repeated in the
future, hope to meet you there!
