Looking back at the Fujara school in Roznov, Czech republic (9/13 - 9/14/2008)

The Fujara school in Roznov, Czech republic, and the International Fujara Concert lives now only in my memory,
since I am back home in Maryland. It would be more fitting if a participant would describe the event, and not the organizer, so I'd like to ask Chris Capoccia to write about it for you, because he was there, most other students were Czechs and Slovaks.

I have many of my own pictures, but haven't have time to process them yet, there will also be a video (DVD) from the fujara school and the concert, available later.
I am very happy with the outcome, my new fujara teaching method worked well, got lot of good feedback (we had over 20 students), and the concert was fantastic, everybody liked it. One of fujara students was mandolin virtuoso Radim Zenkl from California, he was also a guest performer at the concert and we've played several pieces together, he is an amazing musician.
