C++Builder is a rapid application development (RAD) environment for developing software in the C++ programming language. Originally developed by Borland, as of 2009[update] it is owned by Embarcadero Technologies, a subsidiary of Idera. C++Builder can compile apps for Windows (both IA-32 and x64), iOS, macOS, and Android (32-bit only). It includes tools that allow drag-and-drop visual development, making programming easier by incorporating a WYSIWYG graphical user interface builder.

When it comes to windows development nothing really tops Visual Studio. It is very feature rich and has an excellent debugger, not to mention the vast community of users to help you with any problems you may encounter. If a company's development tools for their own operating system weren't the best for it, I'd fear their status in the software world. But if you don't need the extra features and absolutely need a RAD tool with drag & drop (besides MFC) C++ builder isn't too far behind. Using the delphi environment prior is just an advantage for you.
Borland C++ targeted the professional application development market, while Turbo C++ targeted the home and hobbyist market. Borland C++ included additional tools, compiler code-optimization, and documentation to address the needs of commercial developers. In 1997 Borland C++ was replaced with Borland C++ Builder.
I have C++ builder 6 professional, and XE7-XE8 professionals + maintainance , and I now need the old C++ builder 6 to run in windows 10, but the registration does not work (Windows 7 registration was lost during Windows 10 update and now it complains the limit of the registrations). The MZ-B100's high price is offset by saving about $100 on an external microphone but the built-in mic isn't as good as Sony's external ECMDS70P unidirectional mic. Those looking for long battery life will be disappointed to discover the MZ-B100 takes only one AA battery rather than a Sony gumstick NiMH rechargeable battery and doesn't take an external AA battery pack.
