I'm writing this letter on behalf of the Department of International Affairs of the Students' Union.
Since Thanksgiving Day falls on this Thursday, so we hereby sincerely invite you to our Thanksgiving party. I suppose this year may be your first time to spend this traditional holiday in China and perhaps you are willing to share this memorable occasion with your local and overseas friends .
The content of the party includes collective games and a small banquet supporting by professional DJ. What's more, the performance of Modern Dance and Magic will also add much fun to the party.
It would be a great pleasure to meet you and perhaps your language partner at multi-function hall (enter it through the stairs outside the school supermarket), at 18:30, on November 27th, 2008(Thursday).
If you have made up your mind, please reply to this email as soon as possible. Please let me know whether you will come by yourself or with your language partner.
