ftr-gwt-library and PHP/Rails

Hi!

Just a short question from a total newbie to GWT and stuff:
- Can I use this calendar with other backends like Ruby on Rails or
PHP? I understand it works as long as the backend understands JSON.?
- Is it hard add new fields when creating a new appointment? Or new
filters for what to display? Especially for a non-Java programmer (but
expert in other languages)?

Hi tiger,
I tried making it work with Joomla, and it worked. (wrote a php which interacted with the calendar and JFactory..., things like that)
Adding new fields is not gonna be difficult...
there have been discussions on this earlier, you may want to dig out the old messages.
