URGENT: Florida Senate Could Approve Fracking Soon
Tell Your State Senator to Vote 'NO' on the Pro-Fracking Bill!

Don't Let Your Senator Vote to Allow Fracking

Dirty fracking water from New York Crossroads Rally

Make Sure They Vote 'NO' on the Pro-Fracking Bill!

Dear Alison,

Urgent update: The bill to allow dirty fracking in Florida already passed in the House, and it could get a final, definitive vote in the state Senate soon.

This may be our last chance to stop this terrible bill.

On top of allowing fracking to move forward, this bill would also overturn more than 70 local resolutions supporting a ban on fracking — including measures protecting the Florida Everglades, an area the oil and gas industry would begin fracking first.

Urge your senator to stand up for Florida communities by voting 'NO' on the bad pro-fracking bill!

The oil and gas industry has been trying to open the Sunshine State up to fracking for years, and each time we've stopped them. And we need to do it again.

If passed, this bill would start the process of drafting regulations on new unconventional fracking, prevent communities from taking local action to protect their residents, and provide exemptions for companies to avoid disclosing what chemicals they're using. Tell your state senator to protect Florida by voting against Senate Bill 318 and the fracking industry.

Experts have concluded that fracking is inherently unsafe. Across the country, regulations have resulted in contaminated drinking water, serious health impacts, earthquakes, flammable faucets, toxic spills, truck accidents and much more. And fracking keeps us on a path toward even more dramatic climate change — something our state simply cannot afford.

Tell your senator: SAY 'NO' to fracking secrets and regulations that don't work — and 'YES' to a BAN on fracking.

Thanks for taking action,
