Use on Windows

I read that this script does not work on Windows.

I spent some time trying to understand it.
I made a few changes on my local copy, but I was unable to get it to
work on Windows.

Has anyone had any success getting it to work on Windows ?

Unfortunately I don't have time to test the script on Windows.
