Hi developers,
would it be possible to allow downloads to be stored on external SD card? The permissions on internal file storage are sometimes not enough - especially when transferring large files.
Thanks
Peter

It's a bit inconvenient, but doable. From the FAQ:

Why can't I save files to my SD card?

Saving to an arbitrary location on an SD card is not permitted starting with Android 4.4 (KitKat). The app will however have write access to the folder <path_to_sd_card>/Android/data/<package>, where <package> is either com.zifero.ftpclient (for the free version) or com.zifero.ftpclientpro (for the paid version).

Hi, thanks for the info. My idea was little bit different - there is a new app permission in Lollipop, that allows to write to a specific folder on SD card. Wouldn't it be possible to implement this feature into your app? E.g. ES File Explorer supports this feature and I can conveniently transfer files via built-in FTP client to external SD card...

Yes it's on the to-do list, hopefully in the next version.
