Hi, here is the official word from Meraki - if you plug a Meraki in,
and it cant download a configuration (because of a firewall), then you
risk having your internal LAN wide open.

Hi Mike,

That's correct, LAN isolation is defaulted to be off. Once a config
has been downloaded then that one will be stored on the Meraki Mini or
Outdoor and used as the default. (one possible solution is to plug in
the nodes prior to shipping so they can download their config)

If you set up a firewall, you should open these ports:
Protocol IP Addresses Port
UDP 64.62.142.0/24 7351
TCP 64.62.142.0/24 80
TCP 64.62.142.0/24 7734
TCP 64.62.142.0/24 7752

I encourage you to check out the http://meraki.com/help/kb if you
haven't already - its got lots of helpful information.

Thanks,
Robert
