PP&E - Ducati LBO Model

Did anyone catch reference on how to treat PP&E on the balance sheet?  Or does that function as our "plug" to balance our balance sheet assets with liabilities and shareholder equity?

We're subtracting annual depreciation and then adding capex each year.
