Those traveling from DTW...heads up the flight from DTW to SAN is currently $491 and when I checked for other dates it was about $700. The ticket from PHL is $326.

Delta seems to have the same ticket costs increases, so we can watch them, but I didn't see anything less.

Spirit is in the same area, but could be a bit less.

Anyone know of the best options to fly to SAN from DTW for less

Another option to consider is flying into LAX or Long Beach and driving to San Diego, which is about a two hour drive, depending on traffic.
