free software movement at gec, manathavadi, wynad

dear friends,
a free software install fest and awareness program has successfully conculded at govt engineering college manathavadi.
a few comments as i was present in the campus on thursday and friday.
almost all systems in the campus, systems in the lab and student pcs are dual boot with ubuntu gnu installation.
the only thing missing is the philosophy of free software and hacker community.
the students and teachers are interested moving towards free software.

the cultural group from manathavadi was informed about free software program but they couldn't make it as they were busy with some other programs.
