More Free Software Activities at Kasaragod

Hi Friends,
Last day(30/1/10) I met Jayettan one of our member/volunteer. After a
discussion we thought we can conduct more install fest in and around
Kasaragod. As next attempt we think we can conduct an install fest at
college of engineering Cheemeni. What do you thing about this?

What can be the preferred dates?

Also we got requests from some schools to conduct install fests. But I
think it should not be overlapped with RHYTHM. But I don't know the
expected date of RHYTHM.

If you are ready we can conduct some programs other than install fest.

May be anyone get in touch with the cheemeni engg college guys?
Are they already having a users group or something?

I contacted c-dit regional co-ordinator mr. ranjith few days back and he is also interested and can conduct a install fest in nehru college padannakkad. and i also contacted a student in cheemeni engineering college, we will get support from ajayan cheruvathur for this. but all are in exam mood. we need to post-pond the programme.

There was a free software stall in XPLORE conducted at Government Engineering College Kanuur. I found a lot of free software user from College of engineering Cheemeni.

I'm sure that we will have a lot of supporters from these colleges.

Before the month of April we should conduct some public awareness program with the help of these college.

Also we have an opportunity to conduct a camp on SMC.
