Though the date of install fest will be finalized only after knowing
responses from the institutions,i hope it is time to we take decisions
about the technical details of the Install-fest.so with your
permissions let me start the thread.

What Distro(s) are we planning to provide for installation?

If we are to give a talk as planned in the meeting:
--Who is going to do it?
--What will be the topics covered?

What other hardware do we need on the venue except computers?
--A Projector?for the live demo?

How Many people will be needed in the venue?

About distro.... no doubt ubuntu in my case... :)

Why should we limit it one disto !!! So that peoples have choice to
select for their taste
Atleast if not presenting all os installation just boot into difeerent
os and show what capabilities each havee.. :)
And about different desktop environments all things like that..
respositories.. package manager ... etc...
Ofcourse we need a projector for the demo

About presentation ... I think it will be better if different topics
covered by different person ..

Guyss... am sorryyy but i dont know what they exactly mean by install fest !! :(
