Nimblex is a linux based os coming in kde desktop environment i have
used this os for some days.. And am sure dat in terms of portability
and and simplicity this is one of the best os around,It features one
click installation of programs which are packaged specially to use
with the nimblx,(for mandriva redhat slackware users must be crying
out !! is that possible !!?? yes is really possible) but for permenent
desktop usage and installation on hard disk you have to take care..
Installation doesnt give much options for hard disk installation or
you may end up getting everything messed up(but that should make you
learn something out of that !! i love taking risks ;) ) its bcoz OS
developers really want to install it on a usb drive and they focuz on
portability and simplicity. If you have installed it somehow(good
work!!) here comes some more problem.. when you are going to install
more and more programs (thats what i have done) your os will start
responding slowely :( its not felt on startup but its really felt
while you use applications .Soo dont try to insall unnecessary things
on it.. I dont know y but this os will become slower when you are
using it installed on harddisk .
But if you are planning to use it as portable OS definitly nimblex is
the one of the best out there.
Guys i didnt check their site since long days but i think that project
is dead or something i didnt find any new version after 2008 version
Nys I suggest you to try it out in a usb drive
