hai everyone
bad news for all
our college network administrator has installed delay pool in the
squid proxy.
so all downloads(.exe,.tar.gz,.3gp,.iso,.mpg...........) everything
has been slowed down to 2.5 kbps

Delay pool Bandwidth limiting is essential for healthy browsing. some naughty students using download managers for downloading games, movies and songs. it will slowdown the entire browsing speed. Now our limit affect only iso, mp3, avi, mpeg, etc. It will not affect the downloading of teaching materials like pdf, ppt etc and it will increase the browsing speed of normal users.
