Configure BSNL Broadband in UBUNTU

How to configure BSNL BB in UBUNTU .
I am using UBUNTU 9.04.
Currently i am confuguring it using ' pppoeconf ' . The problem with
this is that i need to configure every time i switch on to Ubuntu. :(
Any better solution??

What do you mean by configuring it everytime????
the better way is to switch to pppoe mode from bridge mode....you can
do it by configuring the router directly..by entering 192.168.1.1 in
your browser....
then edit the connection settings and choose ppp over ethernet.
this depends on the make and model of your modem, but it's easy to
figure out.
