Suicidal Friend

A friend of mine has become seriously depressed. She is a late teenager
(~18), and has become suicidal many times. When people try to help her she
pushes them away. She does not live with her parents, and her father was
abusive. Her father told her that she shouldn't cry because it makes her
look weak. She has told me that she forgot how to cry. Her parents claim to
be born again, but I just cannot bring myself to believe that. This girl is
very overwhelmed with insecurity, fear, and a deep depression. She thinks
she is at the point of "no return," and no matter how much I talk with her
about her situation, and try to bring out the good things that have
happened, she cannot focus and eventually falls back into the hands of the
Enemy. I have prayed for her alone for weeks. We need to gather and pray
together. Please, if anything, allow yourself a moment of silence after
reading this message to pray for my friend. If you have any encouraging
Bible verses, please pass those along as well. Every bit of support is
