Hey there.
I have something on my heart for ages now and it is about time I let it out.
I am what many would describe as an alternative. I go against trend,
fashion, the norm and anything else that calls us to conform in it's own
boring sense. I do not see how that makes my life wrong.

Years ago, my friends and I were moshing, wearing ripped jeans and so on and
getting bagged all the time by 'trendy' christians. Now they do it. Isn't
that hypocrisy??? We wore it because it was comfortable. They wore it
because it was the in thing at the time. As far as I am concerned, it is
always easier to be a sheep rather than a shepard. We are the underground
and we are coming through. Join in or get trampled. We want to see truth
surface no matter what the cost may be.

****NEWS FLASH****
Jesus did not wear a business suit
Jesus was not afraid to speak out no matter what the cost
Jesus looked at people hearts and didn't really give a stuff what they wore
Jesus hung out with the 'untrendy' people and turned His back on all of the
glam.
So if Jesus was like that, then so to truly follow Him, aren't I heading in
the right direction...?

I no longer care whether the church thinks I have lost it because Jesus is
my mentor not them. I would still like for people to drop their pre
conceptions, but it seems like that won't really happen until they get real.

I believe that there is a generation of Christian youth that are rising up
from the underground who are going to go sick and show all of these sugar
sweet christians what living the word is all about. Being alternative is
what I believe is needed in today's church. We need warriors, innovators and
motivators, not just comforters. People will see Christ in you through your
actions speaking louder than your words. The pot is going to get stirred up
to boiling point and I see alot of people (unfortunently) jumping ship.

It is time that we realise that the body of Christ is made up of all
different parts. To use the analogy of the human body, (or any body), each
part is different and serves a different function.

If we all took our eyes of each other and turned towards Christ, the church
would instantly become a better place and way more attractive to the
non-christian.

What I have said above is my opinion. I do not wish to bring condemnation on
anyone. Instead I wish to open people eyes and broaden there perception of
life in and out of the church. If you wish to email me about what I have
said, feel free. My email is muz...@yahoo.com

Thanks for reading
