Dear Sir / Madam,
We are glad to invite you to join the East Africa Potato Value Chain Knowledge Sharing Portal, which aims to address the scientific and technological divide in the field of agricultural value-chain innovations by enabling East African research organizations to create, update and use scientific knowledge and technological innovations. To access the portal, please, click on the following link: forum.spiritacp.com:83
By being a registered member, you will benefit from all available tools that may allow you to improve your role in the research community in East Africa and Europe, which are, among others:
- Resources, which will permit you to share science and technology documentation and to exchange with relevant stakeholders documentation on research and technological innovations and management practices for enhancing quality along potato value chain. Some types of documents that will find on the site are scientific papers, guidelines on best practices and innovative technologies, training materials, case studies or links to other relevant websites.
- Forum Voices, which integrates several tools such as a discussion forum for facilitating communication between members and a specific area to share project proposals and for looking for partners for the preparation and/or execution of research projects.
- Researchers database, which contains the contact details of relevant researchers and other stakeholders from East Africa and Europe whose activity is related to potato value chain but also to other agri-food sectors.
- News and Events, which will permit you to stay informed of the latest news and events, specifically focused on the ones concerning East Africa region or Europe.
This site has been developed by the project “Strengthening the capacities for fostering innovation along potato value chains in East Africa”, awarded a grant by the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States under the ACP-EU Science and Technology Programme II (S&T II), which is co-financed by the European Commission. More information about the project can be found on www.spiritacp.com.
We hope to see you there!
