Hi all,
Here is a draft announcement of Jeremy’s election for the website & other channels. I welcome any & all feedback!
The Free State Project is pleased to announce that Jeremy Kauffman, founder and CEO of LBRY.io, a New Hampshire-based blockchain company that produces and maintains a decentralized content sharing and publishing platform, has joined its Board of Directors. Kauffman moved to New Hampshire in 2015 with his wife Rachel Goldsmith, who is Executive Director of the FSP. Together they have a son, Warner, and live in Manchester.
Prior to founding LBRY, Kauffman founded TopScore, a startup that processes millions of dollars monthly in event and activity registrations. He is a passionate advocate of decentralized technology and freedom of information.
“Libertarians deserve a homeland,” says Kauffman, “just as all people do. And I'm 100% convinced the ‘libertarian experiment’ ought to be conducted, because it never has, and there is some very persuasive evidence that it would be a better world for the majority of people.”
“Jeremy brings management expertise, technological savvy, and financial support to the FSP,” says current Board chair Jason Sorens. “We couldn’t be more pleased to have someone of his stature backing the most exciting freedom movement in the country.”
