I've used FAKE on two projects now and I am really loving it, My go-to for a long time was nant and that is no longer the case.  So, thumbs up, super congratulations and much thanks to all of the development efforts that made this glorious thing come into being.

That said, I think the name is terrible and let me explain why.  I get that "FAKE" is very clever, I laughed when I first heard the name.  But it is a  barrier to communication, advocacy and obtaining/finding help.

Googling "fake zip" does not yield helpful results until 4th hit for me, vs "nant zip" has it's api reference at the top, because "fake" obviously has other connotations.  Google's pretty good, but it can be frustrating.

Similarly, when trying to describe FAKE to my new co-workers, and why we should use it, and prior experiences, I quickly learned I had to avoid saying the word "fake", because talking about "fake builds" and "fake scripts" and "fake tests" was confusing.  "Are you talking about mocking?" queried one person.  I started clumsily calling it "F sharp build scripts" and I notice this google group is subtitled "F# Make".  Honestly, these communication issues are more of an issue to me than google search problems.

I realize these things have a momentum, and FAKE is already a well established project, and I don't fancy advocating for breaking changes to namespaces, or the fake.exe itself, which breaks scripts and nuget repositories, so maybe that ship has sailed..

But all the same, that's my $0.02.  Thanks for listening
