I relocated to Sioux Falls in February 2011 -- bringing my job with
me. I am employed by Zend Technologies as project lead for Zend
Framework, and have the luxury of working from home. My team all works
remotely, and the huge army of framework collaborators and
contributors I work with on a daily basis are spread globally.

The unfortunate downside to this is that I don't get to meet the folks
using PHP right here in Sioux Falls. And from what I can see so far,
there's not many PHP folks getting together, based on the various
social media I frequent.

User groups are a great way to:

* Meet potential employers or clients
* Trade tips and tricks
* Learn new skills and technologies
* Meet other developers and make new friends

I was active in the Burlington, VT, PHP user group for several years,
and know from experience that user groups are tremendously fun.

So, this is my open invitation: who would like to form a user group in
Sioux Falls? and what would _you_ like to do with it?
