HI all
Just a reminder that the Harbour Masters have a list of registered RIB users please give the harbour masters details of your RST, First Aid Certificates and where applicable working with children checks.
Remember that it is not just the club but Law that the skipper of a vessel has an RST. It is also a requirement that Life Jackets are available for every person on board.
Kind Regards,

Hi Steve,
Nick said he received an email in work from you wanting details of rst, WWC, first aid etc. We didn't get this at home, did you want it to go out to as many dinghy sailors / families as we can email?
If so, do you want to send the email to this address and I will forward to the troops.
Thanks for getting the boats sorted today - It saved us heaps of time.
Janet

My two cents worth…. I think the Shark cat would be perfect. Although take the 200hp off sell them and replace them with 90hp’s will still do the job but will be cheaper to run and can then be interchanged with Ribs as required.
Much better than building. May cost $5000 ish to deliver from the east coast though. I will be going to the GC in two weeks for the weekend, I can look at the boat if required.
Kind Regards,

Well spotted Mark,
I think a basic well maintained 8m Shark cat would be a good choice. They are very seaworthy, and have ample deck space, and would be a very useful companion to Success in a number of applications in the club.
I really don’t see the advantage of a new build…

Guys
I think we should be looking at something like these:
http://yachthub.com/list/boats-for-sale/used/power-boats/shark-cat-flybridge/80090
http://yachthub.com/list/boats-for-sale/used/power-boats/powercat-288/88355
I'm not a fan of the proposed design & having one built will take forever.
