Dear Section Reps,
Can you please forward below to your sailors.
Hi all,
Saturdays racing and training saw a return of
some of our holidaying sailors, and a small group of international visitors.
Most importantly the wind also came in.
We were a bit short handed in the
afternoon for volunteers with some of our regulars away.
If you can spare a
few hours to help out mark laying, committee boat and most importantly rescue
that would be great.
The club is looking much better. A very big thanks
to all those that helped out.
You will have received an email about clothing and non
boat gear in the sheds. Please take the time to read it.
If you are storing your boat at FSC, be it in the sheds, in
the compound or on the lawn can you please let me know so I can put together a
list, also can you please ensure that you have paid the storage fees to sailing
administration.
Training is back to our regular times this week. Hope the
silver optimists don't get blown out again on Thursday.
Speaking of
silvers, a couple of our silver fleet took part in a training camp last week.
The kids said it was fun so lookout Gold fleet
FSC ran a learn to sail
course, that saw the new sailors join us on Saturday.
Thanks to all that
helped out during the week and made the new sailing families welcome on
Saturday.
Of course the big news is the Ronstan Indian Ocean Classic. So
get your entries in and volunteer. If you have a RIB and would like to be part
of the fun, please contact me ASAP on 0400888943 or kchar...@iinet.net.au
.
Kind Regards
Keith Charlwood
Dinghy Captain
