Motor Zundung 2011 @ NIT Durgapur

Hi friends,
SAE NIT Durgapur is organizing MOTOR ZUNDUNG-Eastern India's largest
AUTO FEST this March from 4th to 6th. Now in its 3rd edition Motor
Zundung continues to be the platform which cultivates the tremendous
interest that budding engineers have in the field of automobiles.
With a plethora of exciting events linedup, complete with many
innovation platforms, useful workshops, invigorating guest lectures
and much much more MZ Mach III is raring to go....
This fest is basically for us,the Mechanical Engineering students, and
it has various technical events which I am just elaborating:
1. Go Gliding- Robotics competition with gliding mechanism. The bot
should move using propellers (air thrust only).

2. Super Mario Chronicles- Design a mechanical robot that can traverse
in the given arena. Collect and carry jewels (simulated by table
tennis balls) spread in the arena within the robot's body in least
possible time.

3.ROBOWARS- War between two bots.

4.JUNK YARD WAR TREBUCHET DESIGN- Design a Trebuchet out of the junk
provided.

5. Jig for a Jigsaw- Presents an avenue for all you engineers to test
yourself in the real, practical world. This event is designed keeping
in mind the basics of engineering, and to test your mettle for it ….
If you have common sense, some practical skills and innovativeness,
you are good to go!
