Glad to see someone recognize the elephant in the room - which is over-
complexity of database access in general, or in my view specifically
that ORM is an industry-wide productivity sink. It's a good time for
some concrete new ideas. Just downloaded the paper, looks like lots
of good stuff there to explore...

Hi Steve,
Good to hear from you.
My feeling is that the over-complexity is a wide-spread issue -
broader even than just ORM - even though that is a nasty area as you
point out.
I'll be glad to hear your thoughts on the paper.
