Will there be a Frozen Perl 2012?

When I go to this site: http://www.frozen-perl.org/

... I'm immediately redirected to http://www.frozen-perl.org/mpw2011/,
which is all about last year's conference.

Since February is less than 3 months away, I'm curious as to whether
there will a conference in Minneapolis this coming year.

Thank you very much.

Unfortunately not this year :/ We've all had too many things up in the air / been too busy. But next year, for sure! ~Seth

Greetings.  It's 2013.  May I ask how we can volunteer for Frozen Perl 2013?

Robert,

I am sorry to say that I was the primary person responsible for Frozen Perl in 2010 and 2011. I have been unable to devote my time and energy towards Frozen Perl since 2011. If someone else were to pick up the slack, and be the responsible party, I would be thrilled to help out, but I do not have the time to devote to being the primary responsible person.

Given that Frozen Perl has been in February, and planning starts about nine months before, we are looking at Frozen Perl 2014 right now.

If you want to be the person to champion Frozen Perl 2014, and to bring it back, I'll help out, but I do not want to be responsible for all aspects of the workshop, as I have learned that I would rather go to talks, or write talks, than to organize the workshop.

Thank you,

Leonard Miller
