Hello, we have 3 licenses for Nitro Pro 13 but there are other systems that do not need any more than a reader. Due to some forms not displaying properly on Acrobat, I would like to put Nitro PDF on all the systems, but only need Reader capability and REALLY do not want to see popups to upgrade constantly. Please tell me there is a way to disable these popups.

Nitro Pro that is not activated or running in expired trial mode will work as a normal PDF viewer. It can still open and view PDF files with no premium features like editing function.
Could you please take a screenshot of the popups that you would like to disable?

I have Nitro Pro 14 installed on a Windows 11 machine. I keep having to uninstall and reinstall the program because it keeps reverting to reader mode after being activated with my serial number. this happens after opening a couple of PDFs. This never happened before. I have been using Nitro Pro since 2015. How do I fix this..

Could you please share the license/serial number you used to activate the software?
When you launch the application and then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro, do you see the Activate or Deactivate button?

Can confirm been having the same issue with this. Nitro automatically reverts back to reader mode with no way to reactivate the license. Going to About Nitro Pro does not show Activate or Deactivate. Had to uninstall and reinstall to get it working again but this keeps happening so an easier solution would be appreciated!

Our users need to be able to view and print PDF's easily and without nags or unnecessary extra clicks. This was the reason we were using Reader 5. Until we found features that are needed, are not available in that version.

They are comparing Adobe reader and another product 'Gotomax PDFMailer". I need to be able to provide a solution to these two programs with Nitro or Stakeholders will not look at it favourably for renewal....I'm already having a tough time because Nitro Pro doesnt cooperate very well with Government fillable forms. (no resolution found)

I created a seven page questionnaire in Nitro Pro Version 12.0.0.108 which works well in Nitro but on sending it out to my users, I find that it is not being read correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Only several of the check box groups are showing in Adobe and the calculated sum fields are not working. Any hints on why the incompatibility problem is happening?

A fellow employee has created forms in Nitro Pro that only function correctly in Nitro Pro or the Nitro PDF Reader. I understand I can't make them work in a browser, but our forms should be able to be usable in any reader. How do I fix this or how do we make these forms correctly going forward?

I as well am having issues with forms. I made a bunch of fillable forms for my company and in Nitro the forms look great and all the check boxes work properly. but now that we have been using them for a little while I am getting complaints about some check boxes disappear once the PDF is opened in Adobe, I tried to find a fix myself but cant seem to find anything.

Hi, we just signed up for the 14 day trial and right off the bat, receivers using Adobe reader are getting the "An error exists on the page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly.Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." error message upon opening the PDF. These are filable forms.

I have created a fillable form in NitroPro. The calculations only function appropriately if the form is filled out in Nitro. The extended staff who need to be able to use the form with Adobe Reader are submitting forms with incorrect calculations.

The form is skipping a single line in a subtotal in most instances. The subtotal is not rolling to the front page in some instances. Either way, the form is inconsistent and therefor unusable for the larger organization.

We have struggled with this in NitroPdf/NitroPro for years. Whenever we use QuickSign to sign a document and then save it, the signature does not show up in Windows or Adobe PDF readers (and probably others as well).

2. Reboot the computer
3. Repair Nitro via the Control Panel > Programs and Features
4. Open Nitro > File > New
5. Create a new quick sign signature using the Draw function and place it on the new/blank PDF.

I'm using Nitro Pro ver. 13.49.2.993 . When Nitro Pro is set as default app for PDF documents whole Windows desktop including the application taskbar is freezing and like refreshing every 60-90 sec. When it's happening the MS File Explorer is closing down and have to be reopened from scratch. Also when typing a text in Outlook message the kayboard is like hanging and off use for some 5-10 sec.

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them.

1. Find a PDF file and Right Click then go to Open With then "Choose Another App".
2. Navigate or scroll to the program you want to use to open your PDF file and then select this program. For this instance, choose Nitro Pro 13.
3. Check the box "Always use this app to open .pdf files' then click OK.

- I have now realized that, after the update, I had had a similar issue as OP with my desktop icons and taskbar reloading and flashing, file explorer or other open windows I was working with would close when the flashes took place every 10-30 seconds. Also, MS Outlook 2019 was reporting that "Nitro add-in" was causing Outlook to load slow. I thought it could be my monitor, so switched monitors- problems still occurred. Then, thought it was my pc beginning to crash. A computer tech tried So I ordered a brand new Dell Optiplex 7090 i7-11700- workied with the new pC for a number of hours the day I received it and it worked great until after I installed Nitro 13.49.2.993-the problems began occurring on my brand new PC immediately after the Nitro Pro 13 was install and activated! So, I uninstalled and deleted all of the files and found on your forums to use the 'clean up' file. I did that and redownloaded again. The same problems began happening.

At this point I have again uninstalled all Nitro and ran the clean-up. I have been trying to find and install the version immediately before the latest update of 13- it worked fine, but I cannot seem to find where you had all of the recent update files. I had to find a reversion previously for another matter. I have been a licensed purchaser of Nitro for many years and this has been extremely frustrating and expensive! My PC works great without Nitro installed!
