Dear friends and family,

I wanted to share something new and personal with you.

I’ve just launched Mexico Decoded, a Substack where I’ll be writing weekly about Mexico’s politics, economy, and power struggles. It’s a space to tell the stories that often go missing in international coverage, and to offer sharp, accessible, data-driven analysis straight from Mexico City.

This project means a lot to me. 

It’s a chance to speak directly to a global audience about the country I live in and love, without the filters and clichés that often shape the conversation. It’s also a way to support independent journalism written in English, but rooted in the realities of everyday life here.

I’d love for you to subscribe, share, or just take a moment to read the first post.
