I hope you are doing well.

I wanted to see if you would share an invitation to a community prayer series that will be starting tomorrow with your contacts. It will be at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral in El Paso at 6 pm. Here is the invitation and flyer is attached:

Hello everyone!

You all are cordially invited to join us for a series of evening prayers starting up at St. Patrick’s Cathedral this month! In challenging and exhausting times for many in the community (including all of you who are tirelessly working to accompany our migrant neighbors), we hope to break indifference and be a witness of hope together.

Join us once a month, beginning on Thursday, August 28th, at 6 pm at St. Patrick’s Cathedral!

We’ll pray and reflect on building a thriving border community, guided by community faith leaders, starting with Bishop Anthony Celino. Afterwards, we will engage in a vital community dialogue to learn about urgent immigration and justice issues and get informed about our constitutional rights, with the incredible Imelda Maynard from Estrella del Paso.
