Hi everyone,

Environmental programs are being attacked by House Republicans in many more bills beyond the traditional “environmental bills” – please consider joining letters across the board this year as we make the point across EVERY letter that Congress must reject these harmful spending caps and all harmful, anti-environmental poison pill policy riders across all appropriations bills.

Please join us in opposing the anti-environmental appropriations bills coming to the floor this week by signing onto the following letters:

The deadline to sign these letters is currently Wednesday, June 26th at 10am, but is subject to change as we learn more about the floor schedule for this week.

Please be advised as well that we will be sharing letters opposing amendments to each of these bills as necessary, but we can’t share them until after the House Rules committee wraps up their meeting late Tuesday night, meaning the turnaround time on amendments letters can be a matter of hours or less – please prepare for these tight turnarounds with our apologies for the aggressive schedule House Republicans are operating under.

Now that we’re entering the height of House Approps season, I’m restarting the tracking chart I shared last fall so groups can easily track our responses to the various bills House Republicans put forward this summer. We’ll be updating this with subsequent email blasts.
