Camisetas verdes por doquier en esta frontera. Los conductores la portan, los transeúntes y sobre todo cientos de aficionados que arriban a la Mega Bandera con motivo del triunfo 3-1de la Selección Mexicana ante Croacia en la Copa Mundial 2014, en Brasil.
"... Canta y no llores porque cantando se alegran cielito lindo los corazones", acompañado de las bocinas de los automovilistas que pasan sobre la Heroico Colegio Militar, es lo que se vive en la Mega Bandera.
Mucha gente se han dado cita aquí; mariachis, luchadores, el "hombre araña" y los niños.
Asimismo pasó la unidad P-204 de la Policía Municipal por el sitio, la cual fue abordada por los aficionados y cubierta de espuma blanca.
Con el triunfo de la Selección Mexicana sobre Croacia, México pasa a la siguiente ronda y enfrentará el próximo domingo a Holanda.
En la Megabandera también hay ambulantes que venden antojitos, agentes de Tránsito y una pelota de fútbol rondando entre los aficionados.
Debido a la celebración, la avenida presenta congestión vehicular, ya que sólo dejaron libre el carril izquierdo, en el sentido de oriente a poniente.
