Amnesty International and the Center on Privacy and Technology at Georgetown Law are teaming up to deliver a webinar at 1:30 pm EST on 11 Sept about the use of technology, especially artificial intelligence, at the US-Mexico border. The webinar will cover topics in these recent publications:

The use of technology, including artificial intelligence, has transformed the landscape of the US-Mexico border in recent years. How have these new technologies altered the experiences of people seeking asylum, border communities, and others? Tune in to a panel of experts to learn more about what technology is being used, how it’s being used, and the broader impacts and implications, including what communities need to know to protect themselves. This session will have simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish based on language preferences indicated in the registration form.
