Problem editing articles

Hello and thank you for the excellent component.

I have installed the component and two plugins according to your
instructions. In my website I am building for the local American Red
Cross chapter, I am able to edit some menu items, but not all of
them. For example, the menu items on the left side of my page I can
highlight and edit with no problem. The drop-down menu on the top of
my page will not allow me to edit them at all.

The other issue I am facing is with article editing. I am logged into
the site with administrator privileges and when I click on the turn on
editing button, I don't see any icons near my articles indicating I
can edit them. In fact I can't hover over anything in the articles at
all to get them to be editable. Any suggestions on either of these
two problems?
