After learning that mw2 was getting two really cool weapons, the famas and wa2000, which were favorites of mine from past call of duties, I was super excited. Now testing them in custom games has removed that excitement. A lot less on the wa2000, since my only gripe is the fact that the most interesting thing about it (the face on the lens cap) isn't present on it's optic. I think it's super lazy and takes out the one small detail that made it stand out to me. Anyway, the famas in this game instead of being the burst FAMAS like the game it's a remake of or even the game it's a sequel to, i.e. mw2 and mw19, the devs decided to make it another generic ass automatic rifle. This is disappointing for a number of reasons, like how majority weapons in the game are automatic and how the only other burst in the entire game is the trash ass M16 which is abhorrent for PvP in dmz. Another one is how instead of having an ammo option or even a magazine that gives the famas deadly precision and damage at long ranges, which is what I wanted to use it for, and the last one is that they gave it crazy recoil. These things I mentioned aren't that hard to fix like damn get creative for once. No interactive elements in mp maps like light switches or destructible environments and only one nvg map which is awful by the way, bland weapon design and nonsensical addons like the gs magna when you could just have a damn select fire option. I'm tired of duplicate guns keeping the sandbox small, im tired of bad mp maps, I'm tired of an awful warzone a buggy dmz and minimal creativity.
