Integrity Team - Software engineer in test
Austin TX
Project Overview: This project seeks to engage experienced testing contractors who can support E2E validation ads ecosystem including device, browser UI and backend systems prior to public release. The goal is to ensure that new features and platform updates are validated thoroughly before launch by performing comprehensive E2E testing that includes devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
Contractors will work with internal engineering teams to validate functionality, identify bugs, and triage issues across the system stack. A key expectation is the ability to independently investigate issues by analyzing logs, understanding the test frameworks, and identifying potential failure points across the ecosystem.
The anticipated outcome is improved validation coverage for pre‑release changes, faster issue identification, and reduced dependency on internal teams for issue triage. These contractors will also be responsible for regression tests in lower and production environments.
Engagement Type: Staff Augmentation. The selected vendor will provide qualified test engineers who will integrate with internal teams and support ongoing testing and validation efforts.
Scope of Work:
The selected vendor will provide contractors responsible for the following activities:
- Execute E2E testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, browser UI and supporting systems.
- Validate functionality of unreleased device features and server‑side platform changes.
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual test scenarios.
- Investigate failures and perform root cause triage across the system stack including devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Analyze logs and system telemetry to identify the source of issues.
- Work with internal engineering teams to provide actionable defect reports with clear reproduction steps and supporting diagnostics.
- Understand and interact with test frameworks and tools written in Python, JavaScript, and device automation frameworks such as XCUI.
- Support validation of cross‑system workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Contractors are expected to independently triage issues and identify probable failure points before escalating to internal engineering teams.
Technical Requirements:
Contractors must demonstrate strong technical capability across the following areas:
- Programming and automation experience with Python and Java
- Experience with device automation frameworks including XCUI
- Ability to analyze logs and debug issues across distributed systems
- Understanding of backend services and system integrations
- Experience validating workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines
- Good understanding of database connectivity and data access, connecting to data sources and SQL
- Familiarity with containerization, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, and data pipeline technologies such as Kafka and Spark
- Ability to work with internal test frameworks and automation infrastructure
- Familiarity with E2E testing methodologies and system‑level validation
- Strong debugging skills and ability to independently triage issues
2️⃣UAT lead- Salesforce- Sunnyvale
8+ years of experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as a test lead
for complex, highly integrated projects
Understanding of sales and sales operations processes in consumer channel sales
or similar environment is highly preferred
Well versed in multiple styles of Release and Change Management processes
including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Iterative; Experience in an Agile
environment is a must
Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform is preferred
Understanding of test automation framework design models and best practices
including type scripting, Playwright and have worked on MCP with AI savy
mindset.
Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the
project lifecycle
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate
at all organizational levels
Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather lessons learned from
implementation with business and BPR, and Information Technology group
(IS&T)
Excellent teamwork and ability to influence others (horizontally and
vertically) to instill accountability to achieve results
Experience working on projects for teams based outside the U.S.
Strong level of customer focus and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and multi tasking
High level of professionalism, energy and sense of urgency to “make things
happen”
In this role, you will :
- Facilitate successful release of system enhancements / new functionalities
from development to production
- Create and maintain test automation for the features getting delivered in UAT
for your assigned projects in BPR.
- Create Release processes and documentation to minimize customer impact during
changesManagement of end to end UAT activities including test process
management, team coordination and communication of test results
- Lead cross-functional team to support each Release project plan and post
Release/Change review and coach other PM’s
- Work closely with project team to understand business requirements
- Review requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable
- Develop test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports
on multiple projects of varying size
- Create and maintain the test data for UAT scripts.
- Create, maintain, and report UAT metrics including SLAs and KPIs
- Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
- Document and communicate UAT related risks to Project Management
- Coordinate smoke testing, facilitate sales environment planning and PROD
refreshes, and review master data flows
- Facilitate triage calls and drive issues to resolution with IS&T and
business partners to get closure on open issues
- Create and maintain overall UAT knowledge repository for the BPR team
- Provide UAT best practices and templates; Incorporate lessons learned to
improve test planning and execution
