Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* C# / .Net Programming using Microsoft Visual Studio
* Programming/query development using SQL
* Development of interfaces to interact with third party external API’s
* Development of batch routines to import/export data
* Data analysis/data mining in SQL database
· Enhance a Windows Service to process loans for a new lending business
· Use WCF to read loan collections from a third-party web service
· Use Entity Framework and LINQ To SQL to retrieve data from MySQL database
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* BA/BS in a computer related discipline preferred, but not required
* MySQL experience preferred, but not required
* Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Working knowledge of source version control
* Proven ability to design solutions that improve business processes
* Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with business partners

Qualifications, Skills & Education
· Minimum 7-year software development using Object Oriented design and for high-volume transactional and customer-facing web applications using Java, .NET or similar
· Minimum 4-year experience with Web Service creation and support
· Minimum 3-year experience with publicly consumable REST API creation and support using Node.JS, Java etc.
· Minimum 2 –year experience with Javascript, Node.JS and related node technologies
· Thorough understanding of REST architectural patterns
· Distributed Caching, Web Security, message queues, clustering and failover
· Experience with test driven development and test automation
· Ability create documents such as release notes and perform technical briefings
· Database modeling and SQL development experience
· Experience with API documentationusing Swagger, Mashery I/O Docs or similar
· Ability to effectively communicate effectively with developers, project managers, and end users
